Hace 10 años, el mundo despertaba con una triste noticia: un sismo magnitud 9.1 provocó un Tsunami en el Océano Índico que cobró la vida de 225 mil personas en países como Sri Lanka, Indonesia y Tailanda; entre otros.
Este hecho fue recordado por distintas celebridades a través de redes sociales. El futbolista portugués Cristiano Ronaldo escribió: “Conocí al valiente Martunis quien sobrevivió en el sur de Asia al Tsunami hace 10 años. Le agradezco a quienes ayudaron @SaveTheChildren”; acompañado de una fotografía del joven con una camiseta autografiada.
Por su parte, el Primer Ministro de Inglaterra, David Cameron, publicó: Hoy pensamos en todos aquellos a quienes este día no es una celebración. Aquellos que perdieron a un ser querido en el Tsunami del Océano Índico”.
